Mischievous act harbinger of an impending Ape-ocalypse?
- First ever Zapedski NFT release postponed due to vandalism.
- Motives are unknown.
- Evidence points in the direction of monkey perpetrator(s)
APE-TERROR | Today Zapedski announced that the release of their first ever NFT collection has been postponed due to a shocking and unexpected vandalization of a number of Zapedski editions. Although nothing is known about the perpetrators, the evidence points strongly in the direction of felons of primate origin. There is no indication yet as to what the motive could be.
The collection was supposed to be released on 22 February 2022, 20:22 but the daring and carefully executed sabotage led to the cancellation of the initial drop.
A new release date has not been announced. The decision on a future date will be made in coming weeks if more is known about who the perpetrators are, what the reason was and whether future monkey tricks can be prevented.
The Zapedski team are calling on people who disapprove of the misdemeanor to follow and support Zapedski on Twitter and spread the word in order to stop the monkey madness.
Supporters will be rewarded randomly with a free copy of one of the violated editions.
Zapedski publications are based on interesting news stories or playfully reflect the zeitgeist of today’s generation. The creations can therefore be regarded as unique and artistic “timestamps” that are fun to own and collect.

An NFT is a digital asset that represents real-world objects like art, music, in-game items and videos. They are bought and sold online, frequently with cryptocurrency, and they are generally encoded with the same underlying software as many cryptos.
The postponement of the release comes as NFT use cases are growing daily.
War in Ukraine
Shortly after publishing this press release, Russia invaded Ukraine and war broke out. Of course the editors are aware that this event is so drastic that all trivial news is dwarfed by it. The Zapedski newsroom has therefore decided to moderately report on developments in the monkey issue.
Peace is for the strong, war is for the weak.
We stand with Ukraine.
